Luxor – the city that is often called the world’s largest open-air museum. Its temples and palaces, countless ancient statues and tombs on the west bank of the Nile are in the hot Egyptian sun. All these monuments are on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
Our tour will start with visiting Karnak Temple. The next stop will be at the Colossi of Memnon (Amenthotepa III), depicting the pharaoh who sits on his throne. Than you will see the work of alabaster workshops, where Egyptians manually produce their products. After lunch the tour will continue to the Valley of Kings and then to Dendera, which is about 50 km away from Luxor.
Take a tour of the Temple of the goddess Hathor. The temple has beautiful colours and decoration, the pillars and walls are more than 2000 years old. You will also find a calendar and horoscopes there, which are the oldest in the world, and the passage Serdab, where a lamp made in the oldest technique is engraved in the wall.
The planned return to Hurghada is at about 08:00 pm.
